UNBOXING ACOUSTIC FOAM PANELS FROM AMAZON

For those looking for serious acoustic foam panels for their home recording studio, look else where. This is not the article to read for that. Now with that said if you're looking for cheap affordable acoustic panels for aesthetic look for youtube background than this is the article to read. I'll break down the PROS and CONS in this article.

First off out of an overall rating from 1-10 I would give them a 7 and that's being nice. I was actually pleased with the packaging of the item and how they arrived. As I state on the youtube video I bought these specific ones because they were fulfilled by Amazon. I knew these acoustic panels that you find for cheap on the internet almost certainly come from China. So I figured that if I bought them from Amazon I would only buy it if Amazon did the fulfillment. I feel if they did the fulfillment that there would at least be some sort of QC of the items and so far both times I ordered the panels they've come in pretty good shape. Now let me break down the PROS and CONS quickly.

PROS:

 - They look great when mounted on the walls.

 - Packaged well

 - Material was aired out and none came flatten.

 - Very cheap for a pack of 12.

 - For aesthetic purposes it look great

CONS:

 - Material isn't that good. Very cheap.

 - Imperfections in the material

 - It's not perfect 1x12x12 little shy of 1" thick and a little shy of 12.

 - Dampering sound. It doesn't a great job but then again it doesn't do a bad job either. 

 - No install directions or materials to install. (you gotta look up how others installed on youtube.)
